Desired Requirements

  • 84 Months Demonstrated experience eliciting then analyzing the stakeholder’s business needs using a variety of business analysis techniques and converting those into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements for development. 
  • 84 Months Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining software development artifacts for communication of requirements, including context diagrams, use cases, swim lane diagrams, report specifications, wireframes, user interface specifications, non-functional requirements specifications.
  • 36 Months – Experience creating test plans and test cases, and working with users on User Acceptance Testing
  •  36 Months – Experience managing requirements throughout the Requirements Management Lifecycle, including creation and execution of a Requirements Management Plan, requirements traceability, baselines and requirements change control.
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). 

Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the project manager, client manager, technical team members and other project stakeholders to provide leadership throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  2. Work as a liaison to stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and verify the requirements for complex changes to current business processes, policies and information systems and for the development of new business processes, policies and information systems.
  3. Create as-is and to-be business process flows to ensure that the implemented business process and supporting software meets project’s needs, as well as provide an effective and efficient means of referral and tracking
  4. Conduct requirements workshops and JAD sessions with project subject matter experts as one of the many techniques to be used to elicit requirements.
  5. Create context diagrams, system specifications, use cases and workflow diagrams, report and screen mockups, swim lane diagrams.
  6. Provide development team with clearly articulated artifacts and ensure development team understanding.
  7. Ensure that artifacts required by the client's governance process and Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) are created and support the project scope.
  8. Manage requirements through the life of the contract using a requirements management plan and traceability to ensure coverage between the source of each requirement and the test case(s) it will be tested by.
  9. 9.All work performed under this contract will be subject to internal quality assurance or external Independent Validation and Verification.
  10. This is a high priority project with results required in a short timeframe. While the assignment is for a 12-month period, It is anticipated the project itself will be completed in under 4-6 moths with the remainder used for post “go live” additional features, training and knowledge transfer.
  11. Full documentation is required during all phases of system creation, testing, implementation, and modification.
