Desired Requirements

  • ?Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 60 months of experience with the New York State Title XIX Medicaid Program.
  • At least 60 months experience with large-scale claims payment systems such as eMedNY, and interfaces with other systems.
  • At least 60 months experience in a Medicaid environment and the interactions between Medicaid, Medicare, providers and other state and federal agencies and programs.
  • At least 84 months of experience providing support of TPL.
  • At least 12 months of experience doing Systems Analysis, Troubleshooting, or User support of Medicaid Claims Processing.
  • At least 60 months experience supervising staff.
  • At least 60 months experience with developing and maintaining working relationships with local districts, and/or the Medicaid provider community, other bureaus within the client's Office of Health Insurance Programs, other departments and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and project resources
  • Manage the relationship with the client's Business Units, vendors and all stakeholders
  • Define/refine project scope
  • Administer project change control procedures
  • Establish project plans and schedules
  • Track project progress and resolve deviations from the estimated schedule
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Assess work estimates against projected budget estimates 
  • Assist with the documentation and escalation and resolution of project issues
  • Document and mitigate project risk
  • Participate in project status meetings
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
