Desired Requirements
- Minimum 36 months direct experience managing information technology (IT) projects related to managed care, electronic health records, and the health care industry.
- Minimum 60 months direct experience creating and maintaining IT project plans using Microsoft Project, including developing detailed project plans, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the project budget, scope/change control and analyzing workloads, project milestones, dependencies and critical path.
- Minimum 60 months direct experience writing IT deliverables, including business and functional requirements as well as design, development, testing, and deployment plans.
- Minimum 60 months following PMBOK guidelines creating IT Project documentation, including Project Plans, business case, charter, scope, communications plans, WBS, schedules, risk management plans, and issue logs.
- Minimum 60 months facilitating communications with diverse groups including executives, managers, technical experts and subject matter experts for IT projects.
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum: Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
Responsibilities
- The project manager will be assigned multiple managed care/healthcare-related IT projects and be called upon to lead teams of business sponsors, team leaders, business analysts, SME's, stakeholders, developers, and others to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Manage project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closeout.
- Create detailed project plans, including the WBS, task definitions, time and resource allocation and tracking, and resource leveling.
- Develop/document project management artifacts including the business case, scope, charter, change control, communications plan, and other related project documents.
- Manage, facilitate and report on assigned projects.
- Assist with and facilitate project communications.
