Estimated Length: 6 months 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday Skills Required Financial background Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and research skills Proven problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in basic business applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Excel Responsibilities Reconcile consolidation overpayment/underpayment spreadsheets utilizing various federally-approved templates to report via email to Servicers; funds due to HESC and/or funds being returned from HESC. Process borrower Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF’s) utilizing daily reports, collection system, incoming documents from HESC Finance office and access database applications. Process both manual and automated complex account adjustments using recalculated ledgers and adjustment screens to ensure the integrity and accuracy of borrower loan balances. Process adjustments to closed accounts and report adjustments to business partners via secure email. Perform recalculations on Excel spreadsheets to reconcile discrepancies for various HESC business areas as well as outside business partners. Work with outside agencies to reconcile customer accounts. Assist with special projects as needed.
