Estimated Length: 18 months Qualifications Ability to troubleshoot technical problems accurately Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems as well as Microsoft Office Suites Deploying workstation images and installation of software Excellent communication skills and desire to help others Excellent time management and organizational skills Willingness to learn new skills and provide feedback to other system staff Work well with others and follow direction from supervisors Job Duties Assist staff with technical questions either by phone, email or in person Monitor system tickets and troubleshoot problems if necessary Respond in a timely manner to service issues Install and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and scanners Open tickets for hardware and software issues Setup new user workstations and assist staff with logging in Image workstations and wipe old surplus equipment Update and maintain systems inventory as equipment and staff change Assist with large scale hardware refresh projects Provide onsite coverage for outside contractors Check backup logs and document changes to environment
