Estimated Length: 3 - 6 months Required Skill Level Level 1. Individuals with more than three (3) but less than five (5) years of experience within the specific Support Service Category. Required Skills Smartphone app design and development, must be experienced in both Android and iOS software development. Background Prior experience designing and developing smartphone apps for both Android and iOS. Scope of Service Vendor must develop and design Smartphone application Smartphone Application for Substance Abuse Assistance Information and Resources for the client. Principally seeking a software developer or development team capable of creating a smart device app platformed for the Android/Google and Apple/IOS platforms. Apps developed that can operate on the MAC or PC, in the browser, a plus. We are seeking an advanced developer or dev team capable of Multi-Platform Mobile Application Development tools or is capable of using a software development architecture or application framework, that provides same. Content must include but not be limited to: A comprehensive directory of substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery services Links to the client's government resources A zip code searchable guide that will display the location of the nearest treatment centers and hospitals, including GIS API with directions, maps and routing A NARCAN training calendar Support hotline telephone numbers Links to state and federal websites The app must be designed for the Android Operating System and the Apple operating system known as iOS.and available through app stores. The app must have the ability to be updated for content every six months, or more frequently as the Commissioner of Human Services deems necessary The vendor must provide developer updates as well as patches known as "bug fixes". The application should be developed in a way that the CONTENT is dynamic and easily maintainable/updateable by the client's staff. Any database/dynamic assets associated with the content/display of the application should reside on the the client's infrastructure. The source code (uncompiled) and all components and assets are to be handed over at the end of the development process for the client to publish the application.
