POSITION: Recruiter - Non-IT contract and PERM jobs with clients LOCATION: Melville, Long Island, NY 11747 Compensation: $30K-$50k/annual base + incentive pay + discretionary bonuses (depending on your past experience and abilities) Responsible for full life cycle recruiting of candidates across finance, engineering, procurement, legal, professional and administrative categories - PRIMARILY for permanent jobs with clients, and SOME occasional contract job opening (direct sourcing, not 3rd party sourcing). Responsibilities: Research for candidates through internal database, online job/resume boards and referrals (lots of computer based research work) Call candidates and Qualify / screen / interview them for client positions (expected to make 50+ calls/day resulting in 15+ quality conversations/day) Coordinate client interviews, and prepare / coach candidates on interviewing techniques Revise candidate resumes to highlight their experience Coordinate background verifications Identify and help resolve paperwork bottlenecks at client Build relationships with candidates, and walk them through the entire hiring process (it may take from 1-4 months for the process... so you need to have ability to hand-hold candidates throughout the process) Experience Requirements: 2 to 6 years of Recruiting Experience - for Direct Clients (Third party/layers or recruiting for VMS/MSP clients, or bench marketing is NOT relevant experience for our needs) Good understanding of various industry domains (engineering, professional, construction, etc.) Networker who always asks for referrals Exceptional skills on the phone Ability to close candidates using human psychology Good MS-Office & web skills a must Personal Attribites Required Highly organized - with Multi-Tasking / Quick Thinking abilities Good communication skills. Ability to talk effectively and write business communication in a clear concise manner. Thick skin, ability to deal with pressure Energetic / Enthusiastic / Cheerful with pleasant demeanor Smart individual, Fast Learner Team-player Detail Oriented Compensation: Salary + incentive / performance pay + discretionary bonuses We will check your past employment, references and will perform additional verifications prior to hiring you.
