• 84 Months    Demonstrated experience working in an IBM z/OS environment and supporting batch processing using JCL, IDCAMS, IEBGENR, IEFBR14, etc.
• 84 Months    Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining IBM mainframe applications/batch processes written in COBOL.
• 84 Months    Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining applications/programs/batch processes using CA-IDMS. 
• 84 Months    Demonstrated experience working on complex financial based applications for a large organization.
• 24 Months    Demonstrated experience working with a patient health systems/Electronic Medical Record (EMR).  
• 24 Months    Demonstrated experience with Oracle: PL SQL coding things such as stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.
• 24 Months    Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining server-based batch processes that promote data feeds/exchanges between Oracle and IDMS environments.
• 24 Months    Demonstrated experiences working in an environment covered under HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Use IBM COBOL, JCL, CA-IDMS, CA-ADS to develop, monitor and maintain batch/online applications in an IBM z/OS environment.
• Prepare database scripts; creating/modifying Oracle tables, packages, stored procedures, indexes, constraints, triggers, etc.
• Maintain and support multiple batch-based data feeds/exchanges between Oracle and IDMS environments.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications.
• Coordinate service requests with various client personnel for releases and changes for the application.
• Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents for the application, as well as request services from other client groups.   
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
• Document technical requirements, solutions, etc. to facilitate Knowledge Transfer.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.
