Junior level 12 - 36 months

Desired Requirements

  • High School degree or GED required
  • Minimum 18 months experience in Computer Backup
  • Minimum 18 months  experience in Computer Security / Account management (Active Directory)
  • Minimum 18 months  experience in End User Customer Support
  • Minimum 18 months  experience in Help Desk Phone Support
  • Minimum 18 months  experience in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 18 months  experience in Desktop configuration
  • Minimum 18 months  experience  in documenting end user instructional materials
  • Minimum 18 months  experience in multiple information systems: Web based applications, email, ticketing systems

Responsibilities

  • Provides phone-based help desk support to customers that involves taking phone calls and determining the nature and cause of the problem;
  • Troubleshoots and resolves computer issues using remote control or by travelling to the customers’ site to resolve the problem in the field; 
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and problem resolution of network and email accounts;
  • Ensures computer and customer accounts are connecting properly to the network; diagnoses and resolves network connectivity issues;
  • Works with business analysts and network staff to assist in documenting and testing software;
  • Trains customers on new hardware, operating systems and software;
  • Installs and configures micro-computers and peripheral equipment; 
  • Responds to customer software problems and document their concerns;
  • Solve problems using the resources provided;
  • Works within time constraints
