Estimated Length: 24 months Full-Time 8 hour days with start time at or after 7:30 Mandatory Requirements Expert 84+ Months Desired Requirements 84 Months Demonstrated experience working in an IBM z/OS environment and supporting batch processing using JCL, IDCAMS, IEBGENR, IEFBR14, etc. 84 Months Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining IBM mainframe applications/batch processes written in COBOL. 84 Months Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining applications/programs/batch processes using CA-IDMS. 84 Months Demonstrated experience working on complex applications for a large organization with at least 500 users 48 Months Demonstrated experience developing with Visual Basic (VB6) with Oracle and Crystal reports 48 Months Demonstrated experience with Oracle: PL SQL coding things such as stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc. 24 Months Demonstrated experience developing and/or maintaining server based batch processes that promote data feeds between Oracle and IDMS environments. 24 Months Demonstrated experiences working in an environment covered under HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Use IBM COBOL, JCL, CA-IDMS, CA-ADS to develop/maintain batch/online applications in an IBM z/OS environment. Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing of changes based on State/Federal mandates or requests from the client's Center for Human Resources. Primary and sole support (other than management) of Human Resource Management System- (HRMS) which provides Personnel and Payroll functions to 13,000+ client staff and interfaces with control agencies. Primary and sole support of Exam Admin System which interfaces with DLMS. Monitor batch production jobs, analyze results, and address any aborts/system failures as needed. Prepare database scripts for creating / modifying Oracle tables, packages, stored procedures, indexes, constraints, triggers, etc. Maintain/support multiple batch based data feeds between Oracle and IDMS environments. Work with members of the client's Human Resources, DBA unit, and other agencies to migrate batch and online application changes to the QA and Production platforms following standard migration procedures. Work with business owners, users, and technical support staff to identify changes that are needed and the solution for implementing them. Respond to ITSM Service Desk calls assigned to any of the resolver groups associated with applications supported.
