Desired Requirements

• 84 months experience in the development and maintenance of complex project schedules and creation of weekly progress reports for multiple stakeholder groups.
• 72 months IT project management experience working with government entities that required development of project scope statements and management of project scope, risks and issues.   
• 24 months experience managing IT development projects in the Unemployment Insurance Benefits area at the state level. 
• 24 months experience managing application development projects utilizing Agile development techniques and WebSphere Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies.
• 36 months experience managing projects or initiatives that involved multiple agencies and/or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Business Solutions’  administrative/reporting work required in IT Service Management System (ITSM) for the UISS project 
• Tracking and coordinating all tickets required for Chief Technology Office and Chief Operations Office work. 
• Developing Progress Reports and reporting back to client and UISS project management.  
• Interfacing directly with TCS project managers, client project director, and client Project Leads.
• Management of assignments and releases including the Planning, Execution & Control, and Closeout activities
• Creation and management of project scope documents.
• Management of the creation of project deliverables from requirements to final project acceptance.
• Coordination of meetings with the Program sponsors and applicable client groups.
• Development and maintenance of project schedules.
•  Coordination of project team member resource activities according to approved project scope, development approach, and project schedule.
• Coordination of project status meetings with stakeholders and generation of minutes as needed.
• Management of the overall project/work plan to ensure work is organized, assigned and completed on time.
• The Project Manager will help support agility model of software development.  The Project Manager will work to ensure that project activities are optimally delivered through cost effective measures that meet agreed-to requirements on budget and schedule.
• Review existing project plans and schedules and develop missing components 
• Identify any unresolved issues, risks and concerns 
• Work with teams to reduce or eliminate risks
