• Knowledge and expertise in following areas of Cloud Computing:
  • Advanced Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Windows 10 & Microsoft Office 2016 
  • Citrix and XenApp environments
  • Active Directory
  • Networking
  • PC/ Laptop/ Thin Client Support
  • Printing Support 
  • Imaging/ Deployment on a large scale
  • Citrix Support
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician (MCDST) a Plus
• Administration of:
  • Active Directory; account lockouts and Citrix Application Security Groups and external remote access
  • Citrix AppCenter; Troubleshooting connectivity, sessions and application issues
• Ability to install, upgrade, support the client's authorized desktop applications and provide ongoing support for Desktop / Laptop and Thin Client devices in the client's environment.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application enumeration and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues, for internal users.
• Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users who need assistance with their computer hardware or software.
• Work with Windows 10 Program team, System and Network Administrators to install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Desktop/ laptops and Thin Client devices with Windows 10/ Office 2016.
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical staff. Must be able to work in a team environment. 
• A customer-orientated approach with excellent communication and organizational skills. 
• History of success working in fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead technician role in deploying Windows 10/ Office 2016 to all client agencies and all client locations (1,155 locations within NY City Transit, Long Island and Upstate New York, Connecticut, New Jersey)
• Team lead for Building Windows 10 Desktops, Laptops, and Thin Client Devices.
• Follow the client's defined process for builds
• Configure & Install Enterprise applications
• Configure & Install COTS applications
• Configure & Install Peripheral devices
• Provide Customer support as required
• Lead a team of techs who will perform Thin Client and Citrix related troubleshooting and Support
• Software Distribution using SCCM
• Gathering information and implementing print queues for users
• Microsoft Office 2013, 2016 Support
• Network Troubleshooting
• First level support of Firewall issues
• First level support of Antivirus
• Handle user data migration as needed
• Coordinate with various IT departments
• Attend regular project team meetings
• Document and track issues
• Document and track user deployments and sign-offs
• Perform any additional project related activities as needed.
• Perform any work associated with the client's other IT projects
