Estimated Length: 24 months Negotiable daily work hours (strongly prefer starting between 7:30 and 9:00am through 4:00 or 5:30pm). Mandatory Requirements Expert 84+ Months Desired Requirements At least 84 months experience in building extraction and transformation of transactional data using ETL (extract, transform, load) tools like Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) At least 84 months experience delivering reporting and analytics solutions using tools such as Pentaho Business Analytics or Tableau At least 84 months experience in complex SQL development leveraging analytics functions using Sybase ASE or SQL Server At least 48 months experience in Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) development. At least 60 months experience in Star Schema / Dimensional Modeling to support data warehouse environments At least 84 months experience in doing data profiling and source to target mappings. At least 84 months experience in internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including the development of presentations and other materials Responsibilities Gather and validate of BI and reporting requirements Document requirements & solutions Perform Data profiling on the source systems Design and review star schema dimensional model to support data warehouse and data marts Perform Source to Target Mapping between source system database and data warehouse target database Develop ETL transformations using one of the ETL tools like Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Develop reports and analytics using one of the tools like SQL Server Reporting Services (Pentaho or Tableau) Develop complex queries using Transact-SQL leveraging analytic functions Perform necessary Testing Complete Documentation
