Estimated Length: 24 months 35 hrs per week *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (IN-PERSON INTERVIEW) Mandatory Requirements Expert (84 Months + ) Desired Requirements 84+ Months of Experience in Database Management doing Data Modeling 84+ Months of Experience with MS SQL Server in the setting up and configuring Microsoft SQL Server in a virtual and clustering environment. 84+ Months of Experience in ETL using IBM DataStage (IBM Infosphere Information Server),Tienet and eScholar Applications 84+ Months of Experience in SQL Server Backups, Restore Strategies, and Replication 84+ Months of experience in designing and coding SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 84+ Months of experience in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 84+ Months of experience in SQL Server Performance Tuning and Query Optimization 84+ Months of experience writing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, and views using SQL Bachelor’s Degree MS SQL Server Certification Responsibilities** Manage requirements gathering and analysis for new and existing projects Support Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 databases across all environments Support and Troubleshoot Tienet application implementation Support Microsoft Windows 2012 and 2016 Enterprise Servers including configuration and maintenance Automate work processes by use of scripting, specifically PowerShell and Python to help streamline work and enhance processes Perform administration tasks related to the IBM InfoSphere Information Server (IIS), DataStage and QualityStage Install and configure Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 and Microsoft Windows 2012 and 2016 servers Monitor Microsoft SQL Server activity on a proactive basis and tune the system for optimal performance Create, design, manage and troubleshoot SSIS packages Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs daily using BCP, DTSRUN, SSIS and other Performance Monitoring tools Automate Octopus deployments with azure devops and GIT integration Use Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Online Transactional Processing (OLTP) Data modeling with the ERWIN data modeling tool Support Operational data model and data mapping Support the development and maintenance of DIIT/STARS data dictionary Manage and Support DB2 relational system and troubleshoot issues on the DB2 System Administer DB2 Connect, DB2 Gateway in different ETL set up. Install and Support Geographic Information System (GIS) servers and Identify bottlenecks in ArcGIS applications Support and Administer Escholar application and configuration of eScholar Data Manager (eDM) Servers Troubleshoot/upgrade/redesign ETL processes across different platforms
