Estimated Length: 6 months Monday to Thursday,  9.00 AM- 5.30 PM, 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Paid weekly, 37.50 hours per week. 

SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION/ROLE
The Risk Management Standards and Procedures group is seeking one (1) temporary
consultant to assist with entering certificates of insurance and related documents and
procedures using a web based certificate tracking system. Consultant is requested to help reduce the backlog of contracts that have accumulated over time due to the manual entry process.

Requirements

• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate and Advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Must have experience with Risk Management

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform duties to support the mission of to track evidence of insurance for contractors working on client properties.
• Review, audit and transcribe insurance documents based on a prescribed format in support needs
• Maintain accuracy and performance standards for data transcription
• Review and approve insurance provided by client to support, primarily “Not forBenefit” agreements, on a timely basis.•Communicate and coordinate with Vendors and Risk Management department, as described inthe Complianz Process manual.
• Map Contract ID from PeopleSoft to Complianz system and provideapproval/ComplianzID, as requested

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, or 4+years’ experience in an insurance environment
• Working knowledge of property and casualty insurance is preferred
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Intermediate Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; aself-starter
