QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• 3+ years working as a professional UI developer with solid front end development experience
• Good working knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks, network protocols, and state
management.
• Modern, modular, CSS using modern tooling and Flexbox
• Fluency in Java and SQL is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with J2EE Application Server
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgment, high ethical standards, and a
strong work ethic are a must
• Strong interest in public transportation and delivering an amazing customer/rider experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, implement, and manage components of new web-based application, ongoing
maintenance and enhancements
• Translate the UI/UX design wireframes to high-quality code and technical implementations that
will produce visual elements
o Write code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation
o Optimize components for maximum performance
o Streamline integration of new designs across c;lients websites and other digital
environments
• Participate in all aspects of the Agile software development lifecycle
• Remediate production issues, defects, and bugs
• Author and update functional requirements and technical design documentation
• Validate test plans and scenarios

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Live Media Manager Platform will be developed and rolled out to all 
communications staff. With many different form factors, need to create and deliver new templates and screen messaging. The platform will provide the ability for clients staff to manage Outfront screens and other digital screens in client's network, create and send sms/text messages, and email alerts and other communications. This role will be responsible for working with the digital graphics manger to translate designs into code to deliver working templates for each type of
communication, standardize graphics, motion video and more to support the system.
