Estimated Length: 5 months 9 AM to 5PM Monday – Friday- 35 hrs per week Requirements Design, implement and maintain java application phases To take part in software and architectural development activities Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging Identifying production and non-production application issues Transforming requirements into stipulations Develop, test, implement and maintain application software Recommend changes to improve established java application processes Develop technical designs for application development Develop application code for java programs Created new web service operations and modified the existing web service's Also used SOAP UI tool to test the web service operations. Created SOAP test cases for different test scenarios MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology or skill set that is beyond the requirements addressed in the other labor categories. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered BA/BS Degree or equivalent, in a technology related field or other degree preferred. Sun Microsystems Certified Professional. 4 years of total experience in object oriented design, development, testing and deployment of mission critical business applications, at least 2 of which are in a web/client- server environment. 4+ years of hands-on development experience with projects involving Java and DB2 database technologies for web, web service and desktop application development using Good communication, presentation and leadership skills. Team player who can establish excellent working relationships with peers and other teams. Ability to work on multiple projects as team lead or team member/developer. Ability to understand business requirements and estimate for delivery commitments. Utilize application development environments, tools and methodologies across multiple platforms.
