Estimated Length: 24 months, 40 Hours per week Requirements • database technical design, storage configuration, space management, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, troubleshooting • development and maintenance of integrated databases and technical assistance in the design of new systems and/or modifications to existing systems including data modeling • database programming and the use of stored procedures, triggers, or similar development approaches • Monitor performance and provide ongoing tuning of databases • Install new database versions and upgrades • Support for development, test and production environments • Develop and maintain database administration procedures and operations to optimize database availability • Evaluate and solicit feedback on processes to identify areas of improvement for optimizing transactions • Assist with impact analysis of changes to database objects Requirements: • Experience with entity-relationship diagrams and relational database development tools • Experience in Structured Analysis and Design techniques, data dictionaries, database schemas and database security • Experience in investigating, analyzing and modeling corporate data, including corporate databases, application systems and associated interfaces. Also ensure the appropriate design, configuration, integration, and installation of database management system applications. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and three years or more of related full-time, paid experience as an Oracle, SQL Server or AIX administrator. • Strong initiative and leadership skills, strong work ethic, responsibility and dedication • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment Strong verbal and writing skills Additional Skills and Information: Extensive Oracle RAC experience in an ASM enviroment(5+ years) Working knowledge of PCI environment is a must ETL work experience is desirable Red Hat Linux experience is also required Unix/Linux shell scripting experience is required Oracle Rman backup/recovery experience is required Working knowledge of Oracle TDE is desirable
