Requirements

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Separation of duties are essential within the unit so that the same employee is not logging and applying payments. Duties will change monthly between “logger” and “applier”.

· Process 100-125 cash batches from bank lockbox, 100-250 electronic payment transfer payments and 50 checks mailed directly to Central Office each month. Many require extensive research to identify & appropriately apply to accounts receivable. 

· Perform data entry of Medicaid record requests. 

· Process tuition payments for Children's Residential Treatment Facilities. 

· Perform cashier functions including cash/bank deposits, preparing refunds and transfer balances, and preparing monthly bank reconciliations.  

· Maintain log and cash application functions.

· Perform significant data entry of various Medicaid and Medicare requests.

· Acquire in-depth knowledge of numerous data systems used and maintained by CRO.

· Provide back-up for other clerical positions in the unit as necessary.
