Estimated Length: 12 Months Work hours:37.50 Est. OT Hrs/Wk: LOCAL ONLY Requirements Responsibilities will include the ability to: • Windows Server Administrator • Unix Solaris Administrator • Windows 10 Administrator • Implement and troubleshoot applications issues with ATS, CBTC, PACIS and Beacon systems • Monitor and troubleshoot applications errors and assist users • Optimize LAN and WAN traffic flow • Quickly solve extremely complex problems relating to network connectivity and performance • Design, implementation and support of a multicast network environment e Design and implementation of Quality of Service across the network. The knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics that candidate must possess: • EIGRP and BGP redistribution, integration, traffic shaping, policy routing, priority queuing, map classing and HSRP • Multicasting with IP PIM Sparse/Dense Modes, IGMP and RP/Auto-RP deployment • VolP and Data QoS/ToS, Traffic Policing, and Priority Queuing • Configuring Cisco CatOS and IOS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and routers • Have a Good understanding of the OSI layers 1-7 • In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP Protocol and related TCP/UDP ports • Ability to work various shifts and be on call to support a 24x7x365 network • Organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and attentiveness to detail • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • Experience with implementing and managing Solarwinds Network Management Tools • Experience with SONET, ATM, TCP/IP, DWDM, OSPF, RIP, ARP, VLAN's, COE • Configuring Juniper Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and routers • Experience with implementing and maintaining Radius & DNS • Experience administering McAfee Security Product Suite & F5 LTM/GTM Additional Skills and Information: Unix Administrator
