Estimated Length: 6 months LOCAL CANDIDATE ONLY Requirements NETWORK ARCHITECT: Assist the network team of SUNY Old Westbury and collaborate with chosen vendor, Arista, to redesign and migrate the existing network, a mixture of Alcatel Lucent, Aruba, Meraki, Cisco to Arista. The legacy and new network will co-exist until a full migration is completed. Complete network redesign of 2 Academic Buildings, Residence Halls (5 buildings), Data Center. 84 Months of experience working as a network architect designing Enterprise Network. 36 Months of experience of Palo Alto Firewall technology management (design, monitor, support). 24 Months of experience with Data Center Technologies management (design, monitor, support). Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). 12 or more months of experience working with Public Sector on Enterprise Infrastructure upgrade project. 12 or more months of experience working with Alcatel Lucent and Meraki Infrastructure. 6 or more months of experience working with Arista Infrastructure. Document, support and maintenance of Enterprise Infrastructure including on-prem and on the cloud. Design implement and/or review network architectures, topology and design. Review network security. Monitor networks and assist with troubleshooting. Work with Network Operations Center team, security team, application team and Middleware teams to implement various network solutions. · Identify network related issues and provide restoration of services if needed. · Provide support and maintenance of enterprise networks. · Administration, maintenance and support Palo Alto firewalls.
