Estimated Length: 20 months M-F 8am 4pm Requirements Welfare Management System (WMS) and eMedNY inquiries related to billing functions troubleshooting WMS error problems, preparing financial statements requested by facility staff for discharge planning and placement purposes, Reviewing monthly and quarterly reports for missed insurance cases and inputs Medicaid information into the billing system Running the State On Line Query tool (SOLQ) for federal entitlement information used both in daily operations and the annual cost of living (COLA) project This employee serves as back-up to the Administrative Assistant 1 and the Office Assistant 1, and performs a variety of secretarial and clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, completion of billing forms, data entry, and phone answering and Assisting with special projects. It is also preferred that the candidate be comfortable using Microsoft products including Word and Outlook.
