Requirements

The primary objective of the technical consultant resource is to analyze, design and develop data extraction programs for converting T&L related data from PeopleSoft timekeeping to Kronos. A minimum of 5 years of experience ( total 10 years of software development experience ) in analyzing user requirements and building T&L rules is required. Additionally, the resource should have functional knowledge of PeopleSoft timekeeping functionality and processes to support any enhancements or production support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for the development of the enhancements and customizations using PeopleSoft People Tools, SQR, SQL, PS Query,Oracle and XML Publisher
• Analyze, Design and develop programs to create various extracts for data conversion from PeopleSoft Timekeeping to Kronos
• Analyze the current PeopleSoft Time and Labor Rules for implementing the business processes for HQ Police and Civilian population in Kronos
• Analyze and modify HQ auto enrollment process, Leave Balance and other reports.
• Analyze and document the existing time and labor rules in PeopleSoft
• Fit Gap Analysis for PeopleSoft to Kronos Migration
• Modify existing processes and reports in PeopleSoft to support post Kronos Migration
Activities.
• Provide services to support and maintain the PeopleSoft production system consisting of the Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll modules.
• Provide services to integrate new PeopleSoft modules of Time and Labor, eProcurement, Budget and Financials into the existing production system.
• Provide support in applying upgrades, patches and fixes, troubleshooting problems, coordinating problem solving, researching potential processing issues, testing and implementing data manipulation/correction scripts.
The qualified candidate in this area will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and five (5) or more years of PeopleSoft Time and Labor Technical experience is required. The candidate must have strong initiative and leadership skills, strong work ethic, responsibility and dedication. The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, strong verbal and writing skills are also required.
• Strong technical skills in PeopleSoft Application Designer, People Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, File Layout, Integration Broker, Data conversion, Workflow and SQL.
• Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Timekeeping functionality and processes.
• Develop Unit test documents for QA testing
• Provides and/or arranges for technical support and problem resolution for client inquiries and to resolve production issues.
