Estimated Length: 12 Months Work hours:37.50 Est. OT Hrs/Wk: Requirements PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION WILL ALLOW FOR WORK TO BE PERFORMED REMOTELY. HOWEVER, CONSULTANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ON-SITE/IN-OFFICE ON OCCASION AS RETURN-TO-OFFICE HAS BEGUN. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD BE MADE AWARE BEFORE APPLYING. THIS POSITION IS FOR AN APPLICATION DEVELOPER TO SUPPORT EAST SIDE ACCESS and TIMACS3 PROJECTS. Responsible for the coding, development, testing, maintenance and integration of complex application software. Required Skills: • Strong C++ Skills with C++20 • AMQ Proton knowledge • Complex UI creation with scaling resolution targeting IGEL Dumb Terminals • Linux Experience • Fedora / Red Hat environments Recommended Skills: • Experience building continuous integration pipeline for compiled C++ software. • Including testing, deployment, and monitoring • Oracle/SQL Experience • QT Developer Expertise • Knowledge of Railroad operations Additional Skills and Information: C++20 QT Development AMQP Proton Railroad Operations
