Estimated Length: 12 months M-F / 8:00-4:00, 8:30-4:30, 9:00-5:00 Requirements Client is seeking motivated candidates to join an efficient team working on grant contracts and related activities. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, work with data systems, and adapt to changing tasks and handle multiple priorities. As an Assistant Contract Management Specialist, you will manage approximately 30 contracts, serve as a liaison between Client program staff and contracting entities (for-profit and not-for-profit), and become an intricate component of our unit. Responsibilities • Prepare and process designated contracts • Provide grant and contract related technical assistance to contracting agencies and State program staff • Approve and process payments based on your evaluation of contract performance outcomes • Perform a wide variety of activities associated with contractual and administrative services • Assist with special projects as assigned Technical Qualifications - Please provide experience with the following and include the number of years. • At minimum an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates with less than full time experience are encouraged to apply) • Employment history of at least 2 years (office experience preferred, not necessarily required) • Excellent writing and analytical skills, strong communication and organizational skills • Experience with Microsoft applications
