Estimated Length: 6 months Monday through Friday 8AM-4PM Requirements The Filing Clerk, under the supervision of a Human Resources Specialist 1, will create digital copies of Agency's documents for retention purposes while maintaining security. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepare and scan various confidential documents for electronic retention purposes; Process and organize scanned documents in various formats for retention on network and local drives Provide regular feedback regarding scanning status and direct any questions or concerns to supervisor. Perform additional general scanning and photocopying, Perform other related duties as assigned. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Knowledge of office equipment and procedures, and types of filing systems. Ability to carry out assignments requiring organization of materials. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school graduate or equivalent
