Requirements
The Safety & Security Department of the Client is seeking the service of Security Management Analyst consultant. The Security Management Analyst consultant position is requested to provide a thorough review and analysis of current security concerns. Access to Client records provided for the purpose of ensuring compliance with organizational obligations and Client operational guidelines as defined by the Client Department of Safety & Security and the instruction of the Director, Data Information and analysis. Successful candidates must have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and experience using other 3rd party database applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize sources of electronic data to gather information
• Input data from available sources into relevant fields
• Code data
• Perform scientific analysis of statistical information, qualitative data, and relevant information
• Transform data into actionable information
• Maintain records as requested by Director Data Information and Analysis.
• Analyze statistical data to identify trends
• Develop visual representations of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Propose Data-driven solutions to ensure compliance with Security & Safety concerns
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
• Effectively communicate operational responses to trends, patterns, incidents, and events.

Additional Skills and Information:

• At least 2-5 years’ experience Microsoft Office Suite Basics
• At least 5 years prior Security / police experience
• Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data
• Ability in creating reports of Security trends and patterns
• 3-5 years prior experience using digital formats
• Ability to present /or transfer data to develop scientific driven solutions to Security concerns
• Creating/Using MS Forms to capture data
•Experience in using Java, Angular, HTML, Power BI, PowerApps considered a plus.
•Experience utilizing SharePoint
