Estimated Length: 12 months M-F 8am-5pm Requirements Required experience: one year of experience reviewing and processing applications for licensure in professional and technical occupations. Duties will include, but not be limited to: • Answer written, telephone, or face-to-face questions related to the licensing process and requirements for prospective applicants and the general public. • Review applications for completeness and follow up with applicant to correct any deficiencies. • Elevate questionable applications or documents to a supervisor or appropriate unit area. • Read and interpret rules and regulations governing the license and issuance process. • Search records to determine the license status and history of individuals and corporations. Provide information to applicants as requested. • Assist applicants in completing and submitting applications. • Electronically preserve documentary records as needed;maintain records for the required retention periods and then purge outdated records. • Complete other special tasks, as assigned.
