Job Title: Lead Business Process Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lead Business Process Analyst. In this role, you will be closely assisting in the analysis of business processes to identify optimization opportunities within our IT department and responsible plan, design and develop compelling presentations and data visualizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in storyboarding and Lean Six Sigma principles, although Lean Six Sigma experience is considered a plus, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leads process improvement efforts, from discovery to implementation, monitoring and enhancement.
• Assist in analyzing IT business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of significant strategic and operational initiatives, associated with Client Operations
• Assist with the design and implementation of disciplined score cards in areas needed including productivity, service levels, quality, risk levels, and transaction costs
• Prepare and present business cases, findings, benefits and recommendations in various formats and at various levels regarding business units in need of transformation
• Projects include report enhancement and optimization, database creation and implementation to improve finance processing (several projects)
• Document business flows
• Create visually appealing and impactful presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas, data, and analysis results.
• Develop data visualizations, graphs, charts, and other graphical elements to enhance the clarity and understanding of information.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and tailor presentations to meet their specific needs.
• Develop and maintain storyboards that outline the flow and structure of presentations.
• Support Lean Six Sigma projects and initiatives within the organization (if applicable).
• Research and stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data visualization, presentation design, and business process optimization
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience working with IT to improve business processes and the reporting around these enhancements
• Most comfortable and heavily proficient with MS Excel and Access. Most of her visualizations and reporting are done through those 2 tools. Some Power BI as well.
• Utilizes MS Visio for workflow creation
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, IT, Analytics, etc.) is preferred.
• Proven experience in creating compelling presentations and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with data analysis and business process analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint.
• Strong storytelling and storyboard development skills.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines.
