Estimated Length: 6 months 8:00AM-4:00PM Hours are 8:00AM-4:00PM and will be based on 7.5 hours per day. Requirements Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review a list of claims and determine if medical reimbursements need to be submitted. Research claims handling system and determine reimbursement amount. Copy and paste from various screens to create a reimbursement pdf document. Review and add notes in the claims system and other databases. Review notes in the claim system for overpayments. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Medical bill or medical claims experience preferred. 2. Demonstrates communications skills for dealing with the internal staff. 3. High level of organization and attention to detail skills is necessary to review the documents. 4. Experience with MS word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat Reader to create pdfs. 5. Must have 24 undergraduate and/or graduate semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing and a minimum of two years experience in accounting or finance.
