Estimated Length: 24 months  M-F 37.5hrs per week, 9-5

Requirements

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
The candidate must have a minimum of:
a. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree;
b. Paralegal Certificate; and
c. Eligible to work in New York State
2. Job Description and Required Services:
-Take over current IT functions with regard to running hearings, including sending out invites, uploading exhibits, calling up
exhibits during the hearing
-Review responses received to investigatory letters, upload to file
-Check NAIC website regarding disclosures to application background questions, review documents, prepare summary
-Assist with gathering documents for FOIL requests
-Assist with drafting stipulations and fine offers under supervision of attorneys
-Obtain licensing records for investigations and hearings
-Prepare exhibits for hearings
-Take over current IT functions with regard to running hearings, including sending out invites, uploading exhibits, calling up
exhibits during the hearing
In addition, the candidate must possess and/or have the ability to:
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task
-Excellent writing skills
