Estimated Length: 24 months Full-Time Negotiable Mandatory Requirements Expert: 84+ Months Desired Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or similar field of study. 84 months of experience specialized in systems integrations involving multiple disparate mid-tier platforms including Red Hat LINUX or enterprise Unix Environments. 84 months of experience with data systems utilizing Oracle and other leading database platforms. 84 Months using implementing applications that utilize MQ, Message Broker or any other industry leading messaging platforms. 84 Months using LDAP or Enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions in large enterprise implementations 84 Months New York State IT Technical Architecture Experience 84 months of experience in Audit and event logging, as well as utilizing Performance Monitoring AIX and Performance Monitoring LINUX tools. 84 months of experience designing, developing and implementing J2EE MVC multi-tiered applications using IBM WebSphere, WebSphere Java development and WebSphere Technical Design and Implementation. 84 months experience in infrastructure Capacity Planning, Performance Management and related functions. Responsibilities The Technical Architect will have responsibility to support the technical operational aspects of the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW) and the Medicaid Data Enterprise. This includes all hardware, software and technical infrastructure in support of the design, development and implementation of the MDW and the Medicaid Data Enterprise. Specific duties include: Create technical specifications; Reviewing and evaluating technical specification; Ensuring compliance with business objectives and requirements; Supervise / manage project vendor(s) / system integrator(s); Ensures functionality is integrated with other applications. Create Logical and Physical Technology Models Work with Vendor and NYS ITS to support existing infrastructure Support Enterprise Architecture review and governance.
