Critical Key Requirements

  • Experience working as a Solution Architect for 10+ year and 2 years working on Enterprise Application rationalization serving public sector clients.
  • Advise on workflow analysis and design solutions for resolving business problems and provide recommendations for best practices.
  • Lead the Design and Configuration phase for the technical design and optimization of a number of Enterprise Applications for the client, including but not limited to Document Management, Time Keeping, and Crew Management.
  • Serves as a liaison for Business and Technology teams both Software Vendor and client.
  • Advise customer on industry best practices, application configuration and interface strategies.

Qualifications Experience & Education

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in application Solution Architecture.
  • Strong solution architect experience with demonstrated achievements in design and optimization of cloud system.
  • Ability to perform options comparison analysis and present recommendations
  • Ability to serve as the technical representative when working with the client's business users and technical team and Vendors
  • Previous experience in the role with at least 3 major enterprise rationalization systems
  • Knowledge of IT Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies
  • Familiarity with the rapid implementation methodology
  • Familiarity with all functional areas in an IT environment and their interactions
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team
  • Ability to manage rapidly and frequently changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
  • High level proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)

Responsibilities

Partner with the client's team and the project team to drive and manage the implementation process and design decisions by sharing best practices that result in optimal process and system configuration to meet the client’s project and program objectives and business needs.

  • Lead design discussions and document decisions providing consulting on best practices.
  • Advise customer on best course for applicant configuration and interface strategies including integration with PeopleSoft 9.2, Single Sign on and IAMs.
  • Lead, coordinate and facilitate meetings to review design and system configuration which may involve core project team members, key stakeholders and corporate leadership team members.
  • Effectively communicate technical project risks and mitigations to the PM in a clear and timely manner.
  • Operate as a critical liaison between various disciplines within client departments and external entities including technology consultants, etc.
  • Provide input into work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs.
  • Maintain open and timely communication with the PMO and working groups involved in the projects.
