Estimated Length: 6 months (35 hrs/wk) *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY client currently has a number of critical, high profile technology projects that form part of "NextGeneration" and that will be delivered in the next 12 to 18 months. The projects include technology infrastructure projects including, but not limited to, dedicated FiOS circuits, large screen computer devices, and VoIP to over 160 locations; and, deploying Skype for Business and OneDrive to over 9,000 users. To manage these initiatives, clientis seeking a seasoned Project Manager with experience managing infrastructure and hardware implementations, with strong communication and planning skills, who is able to manage successfully several concurrent large-scale projects. Desired Skills: 12+ years' experience managing: (a) IT projects through all phases of the project management lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, build, test, and deploy; (b) client/stakeholder relationships in a government setting; (c) resources, including successfully guiding large cross-disciplinary and cross-departmental teams to accomplish complex project goals. 8+ years' experience working with infrastructure deployments. Certified as a project manager by PMI or other similar organization. Ability to work under stringent deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently. Strong business analysis skills. Clear communicator with strong writing skills. Daily Duties:** Project manager for infrastructure and other projects. Assist in any IT PMO initiatives
