Estimated Length: 20 months Monday to Friday,  9:00AM-5:30PM, 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Paid weekly hours per week 37.50

Critical Key Requirements  

  • iINFOR EAM and/or Bentley
  • A minimum of 10+ years BA experience
  • A minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience in one of the system products: INFOR-EAM
  • Working knowledge in one of the Bentley products: InspectTech, Optram, and APM.
  • A minimum 2-3 years working experience with Railroad business
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT Requirements/ Business/System Analyst role
  • Detailed understanding of, and experience with, all ITIL processes
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ working knowledge in Railroad and/or Bus operation
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ hands-on experience with Infor-EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), and/or one of the Bentley product tools (InspectTech, Optram, and APM)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; a self-starter
  • Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 and higher
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for flow charts/process flows version 2003 and higher

Responsibilities

Assist the PMO with overall Business and System Analysis for technology related initiatives.

  • Perform analysis of business processes, business and system requirements and system design for the development and configuration of software applications that support client's business requirements
  • Employ structured modeling techniques and tools to describe business functions, processes, information and technology designs
  • Define, design and author project business, functional and technical requirements
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users
  • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Develop and maintain technical and standard documentation for program development activity in a timely and high quality manner
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Develop and maintain of system and functional test plans that adequately test the defined requirements and functions
  • Document As-Is and To-Be process flows for existing and future systems
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings such as business process reviews, requirements, and various status reports

Adhere to a Standard Project Development Life Cycle approach

  • Develop and support critical project documentation throughout the project life cycle, from Initiation and Requirements stages through Design, Development, Test, Implementation and Closeout. This includes but is not limited to As-Is and To-Be process flows, Requirements Documentation, Test Plans, Implementation Plan, User Manuals, Training Materials, Transition Documentation, etc.
  • Perform data analysis and producing the analysis result reports as applicable
  • Support system integration testing, UAT, and implementation cutover testing
  • Support transfer to Operations & Maintenance Groups and Change Management control processes
