Estimated Length: 24 months 8 Hour day. Start time between 7:30am – 9am.

Mandatory Requirements

Senior 60 - 84 Months:

Desired Requirements

  • Minimum of 60 months experience eliciting/extracting detailed business requirements from customer/project stakeholders or system artifacts.  
  • Minimum of 24 months experience with systems related to criminal justice processing, including but not limited to: Systems related to the Dept of Corrections and Community Supervision, criminal history updating, or other initiatives related to Offender Supervision.
  • Minimum of 60 months experience developing/maintaining test plans and detailed test cases, executing those tests, validating test results and logging/tracking related defects.  
  • Minimum of 12 months experience using HP QualityCenter
  • Minimum of 12 months experience with automated testing and/or Quick Test Pro.

Responsibilities

  • This individual is expected to provide expertise, leadership, and hands-on participation in the following activities:
  • Elicit business requirements using a combination of the following methods:  analyze current processes, interview users, review/analyze existing documentation.
  • Analyze all documentation to develop and document   the business processes and work flow; providing business flow diagrams as required.
  • Investigate and recommend potential replacement applications, including Commercial off the Shelf solutions and/ or applications utilized by other New York State agencies.
  • Participate in project scope and project plan development.
  • Collaborate with business unit and technical leads to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Identify use cases and develop detailed test scripts.
  • Execute test plans and report issues accordingly.
  • Complete action plan items, and report status of deliverables appropriately.
