Estimated Length: 9 months Preferred Schedule would be Monday – Friday, Flexible between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Minimum half-hour lunch. Mandatory Requirements Senior level 60- 84 months experience Desired Requirements 60 Months of Experience working with Oracle databases and the creation of complex SQL statements. 60 Months of Experience managing analysis and documentation of business processes and data flows by describing relevant factors including work flow processes, data input and output activities, descriptions of data elements, and overall program goals, objectives, and external considerations, such as federal and state mandates, and external stakeholders’ need for business intelligence and analytics. 60 Months of Experience with eliciting, validating, and documenting business-approved functional and non-functional business requirements, including business process improvement requirements and user experience design requirements, based on industry standards such as International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) standards. 60 Months of Experience in the extraction, transformation, cleansing and loading of data from a legacy database to a normalized database. 60 Months of Experience translating and documenting technical information for business/program consumption to ensure consistency and common understanding across the stakeholder groups, including field analysis, data mapping, data conversion, rules, logic flows, interfaces, reporting, and analytics documentation. 36 Months working with United States Government or New York State Agencies with Oracle, data transformation and modern Java web applications. Bachelor’s degree or greater in computer science, computer engineering, information technology from an accredited institution. Responsibilities Analyze and map data elements from a legacy clipper application to an Oracle database and develop a data migration plan. Aid office staff in identification, validation and correction of data. Map data elements from a legacy clipper application to an Oracle database and develop a data migration plan. Develop ETL and UAT tests. Meet with client staff to disseminate gathered business rules and all relevant documentation.
