Estimated Length: 24 months 35 Hours per Week *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (IN-PERSON INTERVIEW) Mandatory Requirements Expert (84+ months) Desired Requirements 84+ Months of applicable work experience designing and developing Web applications using Python and Django 84+ Months of experience in Postgres SQL 60+ Months of experience implementing ETL using a combination of PSQL, Python and Django ORM. 60+ Months of experience with HTML5, jQuery, JSON, JavaScript, React and Redux 84+ Months experience with Ubuntu 48+ months of working experience with Git Version Control Bachelor’s Degree 36+ Months of experience with Unit and Integration Testing Responsibilities** Develops and implements phases of the computerized system development life cycle, including conceptual design, software development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation enhancements of applications utilizing Python and Django with SQL Server for data management and Active Directory for identity management, in accordance with Department of Education standards. Analyze requirements and data access needs and propose file and screen designs. Deploys the applications to multiple environments, from development through Quality Assurance, Staging and Production, and conduct unit and integration testing. Design and develop complex user interfaces using Python and Django. Designs database tables utilizing import or export data from SQL Servers into other data sources on a daily basis through the development and coding of stored procedures and triggers, as needed. Utilizes source control, data collection, reporting and project tracking, testing and collaboration of project development. Codes new objects (programs) in Python and Django to meet the requirements. Conducts user acceptance review sessions and collaborates with other team members to perform debugging.
