Critical Key Requirements

  • Experience in the eliciting of requirements from business users
  • Experience in the definition, creation and execution of test cases based on business requirements
  • Experience in translating requirements from the business user to usable developer requirements
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, customer service and quantitative skills
  • Experience in requirements organization for multiple large scale projects
  • Experience in conducting cost/benefit analysis of requested enhancements

Technical Requirements

Create Functional Business Requirement Documents for multiple system wide enhancement projects.

  • Perform analysis of current system and working with the various business teams, define, analyze and document requirements for system wide rationalization to the client's Enterprise portfolio.
  • Organize, translate and simplify requirements in the creation of functional Business Requirement documents for use by client IT staff.
  • Work with client IT staff to provide any additional required information for the development of system enhancements.
  • Drive the design of test cases for the testing and UAT of Rationalization enhancements and projects.

Required Skills

  • Preparation of Use Cases, Business Process, Change Management, Technical Training, Software Development methodologies, QA testing, and Systems Testing of client server and web-based systems.
  • Gap analysis, JAD session facilitation, process analysis and documentation, functional specifications.
  • Tools: Modeling notation (UML, Structured, BPMN), MS Visio, MS Project, JIRA, HPQC
  • Experience with Agile software methodologies especially SCRUM framework
  • Experience in the eliciting of requirements from business users
  • Experience in translating requirements from the business user to usable developer requirements
  • Experience in requirements organization for multiple large scale projects
  • Experience in the definition, creation and execution of test cases based on business requirements
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, customer service and quantitative skills
  • Experience in conducting cost/benefit analysis of requested enhancements
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work multiple tasks simultaneously

Highly Desired Skills

  • Application Rationalization (App Rat) Experience - Application rationalization is the practice of strategically identifying business applications across an organization to determine which applications should be kept, replaced, retired / decommissioned or consolidated (e.g. https://www.apptio.com/emerge/trends/step-step-framework-mastering-application-rationalization )
  • A basic understanding of web application development

Certifications (At-least one)

  • CBAP – Level 3/Level 4
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
