Desired Requirements

  • 84 Months  Demonstrated hands-on experience with all phases of business operations report specifications development including creating business requirements documentations (BRDs), report mock ups, flow charts, and acceptance testing for business intelligence tools to design report, data analysis, or Dashboards for operational reporting business solutions. 
  • 60 Months Demonstrated hands-on experience in quality assurance report testing, bug tracking in HP Quality Center or similar tool, and development of user acceptance documents for reports.
  • 60 Months  Demonstrated hands-on proficiency using SQL for business user report development, testing, and analytics.
  • 60 Months   Demonstrated lead BA, hands-on experience soliciting reports requirements utilizing JAD sessions, client interviews, focus groups and subject matter experts.
  • 36 Months  Demonstrated hands-on experience using OBIEE 11g business intelligence Dashboards and reports, or Data Analytics background.
  • 18 Months   Development of end user training materials for use of OBIEE Analytics, OBIEE Dashboards, and/or Business Intelligence or application reports.
  • 18 Months   Demonstrated hands-on experience working with large data sets (e.g. 20,000,000 plus records) Oracle 10g/11g databases.
  • Bachelor degree in business intelligence, information science, criminal justice, health science, computer science, mathematics, or public/business administration with an analytics or communications background (e.g. math, statistics, quantitative methods coursework).

Responsibilities

  • Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, communicate and validate the requirements for changes to current business reporting requirements and policies for the development of new operational reports and analytics.
  • Conduct data analysis of business and user needs and developing business requirements documents in accordance with the requirements and protocol of the client's EIM Division during multiple project phases to convert the numerous Oracle Portals, Business Areas, and Discoverer Workbooks to the current Oracle analytical reporting platform.
  • Create business documentation (Business Requirement documents, use cases, swim lanes, process documentation) that detail the Business Intelligence reporting requirements and deliverables for OBIEE reports, dashboards, and ad hoc tools.
  • Work closely with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence technical team members and the client's various Business Owners to create Business Requirement documentation and to communicate the business requirements to the technical team for development of logical and physical dimensional data model reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with data modelers, ETL developers, programmers and the business owners to translate report requirements, provide clarification of business rules, prioritize development, obtain signoff and ensure successful delivery of accurate end user reporting requirements.
  • Create and execute test scripts, scenarios, and test plans to validate initial business requirements and report output through the DEV, QA and PROD migrations, testing for accuracy and sign off on deliverables.
  • Assist in providing training & end user support for the client's staff utilizing the OBIEE Analytics tool.
