Estimated Length: 24 months 8 working hours plus a lunch break. Daily start time must be between 7:00 and 8:30, and end time between 3:30 and 5:00. Mandatory Requirements Expert [84+ Months] Desired Requirements 84 months of experience gathering and documenting business requirements, while functioning as a Business Analyst on software enhancement or new development projects 84 months of experience leading and facilitating meetings with business staff and/or end users, to discuss as-is and to-be processes and business flows, and analyze gaps 84 months of experience documenting non-functional requirements, such as performance, security and usability 84 months of experience creating business analysis diagrams, such as workflow diagrams, process flow diagrams and swim lanes, to describe business processes 84 months of experience developing and documenting functional specifications and system business rules, based on analysis of business requirements 36 months of experience developing and documenting technical specifications and data models 36 months of experience preparing or facilitating the creation of testing scenarios Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field, from an accredited institution. Responsibilities Participate in requirements gathering and analysis for any components of the new system and future enhancements Lead discussions with business staff to identify, discuss and document impacts on business processes Review deliverables of the Transfer & Implementation vendor to verify that business needs are met and requirements are covered. Participate in user testing in a lead capacity Participate in project team meetings, and work closely with the client's and project management staff to monitor and identify technical risks and issues Participate in knowledge transfer of the new system to NYS application support staff.
