Estimated Length: 24 months M-F, 8:00AM-2:00PM Requirements The Client is seeking a candidate to assist the Procurement and Contract Unit . The candidate must be task oriented with great attention to detail. The position calls for staff to be able to work cooperatively and independently with time sensitive tasks. We are seeking someone with a working knowledge of computer programs/systems including: Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel), Adobe Pro, and Email (Outlook). The position also requires the ability to utilize the NYS Statewide Financial System (SFS) and other various systems. Job duties and functions will include purchasing and procurement related activities which include the following: • Assisting with and performing the purchase of supplies, equipment, goods, and services, including issuance and processing of Requests for Quotes (RFQ); • Assisting with and performing the processing of invoices received into the Client's internal tracking systems and SFS; • Assisting with and performing the processing of purchase orders, requisitions, and purchase order change orders in SFS for the purchase of goods and/or services; • Assisting with and performing other assignments and related duties as required. The position hours are currently part time 8am- 2pm ET, however, the hours may be adjusted, if necessary.
