Requirements - Unit: Community Based Health Data System - Bureau: Child Health (2POS - (Full-Time))
Duties:
• Assist with the review of the technical specifications for the current database and for the database being developed
• Provide technical support and problem solving to help internal and external users
• Prepare and deliver basic training on accessing, entering data, and running reports
• Answer questions or resolve computer problems for staff
• Provide support with computer hardware and software
• Assist in development of training programs and materials about use of data
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills required:
• Advanced computer and software skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software package with an emphasis on Access, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to use office machines including multiphone line, copier, fax/scanner.
• Ability to correspond with stakeholders by both phone and email.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced office environment and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to both collaborate and work independently.
• Ability to organize work and document progress of projects through to completion.
• Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as directed by management.
Additional skills preferred:
• Knowledge of public health programs.
Requirements - Unit:Information Systems - Bureau: Early Intervention (2POS - 1 Full-Time &1 Part-Time)
Duties:
• Review data change requests submitted by municipalities for accuracy and completeness.
• Using a web-based data system, review the data in child specific records to ensure the request has been submitted appropriately.
• Correspond with Early Intervention (EI) Requesters.
• Utilize a web-based ticketing system to create and update tickets.
• Inactivate user accounts in database as needed.
• Maintain spreadsheets detailing communications to EI stakeholders.
• Format policy and procedure documents.
• Update EI Provider accounts in database.
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills required:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software package with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of child protected health information.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
