Mandatory Requirements
PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION WILL ALLOW CONSULTANT TO WORK REMOTELY.
(VERY HIGH EXPECTATION THAT CONSULTANT WILL BE PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE, REACHABLE AND ABLE TO WORK PRODUCTIVELY WHILE REMOTE). WILL COME ONSITE ONLY AS NEEDED BY THEIR MANAGER/TEAM (AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE).
2 Qualified Consultants - responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner as well as assisting in migration to cloud platforms. Support cloud servers and environments with installation, configuration, patching, network and security configurations, backups, system monitoring and alerts.
MuleSoft Support Engineer responsible to support complex MuleSoft CloudHub infrastructure. The support engineer will have a strong knowledge of MuleSoft API Management technologies and will have experience in supporting business-critical applications.
- Deep understanding of API management in terms of design, development, security of complex workflows and infrastructure to support
- Experience in developing integration solutions
- At least 1 active MuleSoft Certification is desirable
- Good knowledge of micro services architecture and API Strategy development
- Understands other Middleware technologies
- Familiar with VPN, Fast Connect and communication technologies on the cloud
- Understanding of MuleSoft Development and integration technologies
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Back-end Infrastructure Management
- Understanding of networking and integrating cloud and OnPrem
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Administration
- Deep knowledge of MuleSoft API management technologies
- Deep understanding of how to design, develop and build secure infrastructure for criitical systems
- Cloud Technologies; AWS, MuleSoft Anypoint, Anypoint Studio, etc.
- Troubleshooting (Network, VPN, DB, Client, etc. issues)
- Creating documentation and run books for Knowledge Transfer
- Assistance with Asset Inventory Licensing
- New/Future Technologies and Enhancements (MuleSoft, Salesforce, CloudHub, etc.)
- Supporting Patch management of CloudHub
- Work with other client ITTeams as needed (Network, Security, Application Developers, etc.)
DELIVERABLES & DUE DATES
Documents detailing:
- Platform configuration data flows, design setup, etc.
- End-User Engineering Requirements.
- Action Item Logs for the daily tasks and project milestones.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly Status Reports.
All source files will be provided to the client.
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 6+ years of consulting experience designing and delivering infrastructure solutions.
- Expert in configuring and using Anypoint platform
- Sound Knowledge on MuleSoft Anypoint platform
- Experience in engineering Large Scale Deployment/Migrations/New implemenations
- Strong troubleshooting mind-set (i.e. parsing event log, Sysinternals tools, Installer logs etc)
- Expert in Anypoint studio and the MuleSoft platform configurations and application packaging standards
- Should be good in Scripting language VB Script, Batch Script, PowerShell Scripting
- Full understanding of MuleSoft CloudHub platform including troubleshooting
- Full understanding of API Strategy Development
- Good to have knowledge of Middleware technologies
- Experience in working on UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms
- Ability to work side by side with another vendor to deliver the best services to MTA clients
- Evaluates current procedures and processes for accomplishing objectives and continuously develops and implements improved practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and ability to use Microsoft Project.
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete all tasks assigned
• Tier 4 Position - must’ve 10+ years of experience in an Enterprise level System Center/Cloud Architect role for an organization with multiple sites and business units
