Description:
The Client IT Cyber Security department is seeking a Desktop/LAN/Network Administrator with expert hands on Microsoft technical experience to assist the department with some very interesting and challenging Public Safety & Security projects.
The candidate must currently live in the New York Metropolitan Area, pass an extensive Client Police Department background investigation and have a clean driver’s license.
Onsite work and travel throughout the Client region are required. This position will provide significant IT field support to numerous locations throughout the Client region.
The interview will involve technical questions which the candidate must successfully complete.

Requirements:
• Minimum 7-9 Years of hands on technical experience administering Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2016-2019 and Active Directory in an Enterprise IT organization.
• Expert installing, configuring, imaging, deploying and maintaining Windows 10.
• Hands-on technical experience with Microsoft services such as SCCM, MDT, WSUS, WVD & GPO’s
• Extensive experience troubleshooting communication issues involving Networking and Security technology such as Wireless Devices/VPN/Firewalls/Proxies/DNS/AV & Encryption.
• System administration experience with Enterprise Software Applications
• Excellent verbal & communication skills
• Must have exceptional documentation and writing skills.
• Advanced experience using Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Teams and Visio.
• Strong Cyber security awareness and attention to permissions, risks and mitigation processes
• A solid foundation in Information Technology, including the principles, practices and functions of an Enterprise IT Department.
• Ability to make decisions and provide solutions by inquiring, listening and evaluating requirements.
• Must easily adjust to changing priorities, circumstances and direction.
• Experience with Police, Physical Security or Public Safety is a major plus.
