Requirements

The Client Customer Relations (CR) Line is a telephonic resource for people who have questions or concerns about any Client mental health services in NYS.  The CR Line # is posted in all Client licensed and operated programs as well as a variety of Client publications, and among other State agencies, such as the Justice Center for the Protection of Vulnerable Persons.  The Customer Relations line responds to  a high volume of contacts (approximately 15,000) per year.  The temporary staff would receive live calls on the CR Line, which includes actively listening to callers, documenting details of the call, and ensuring appropriate connection to resources or supports.   Staff would also be responsible for conducting safety checks, which involves telephonic outreach to programs where allegations of abuse or neglect have been reported, to ask a series of predetermined questions related to the safety and care of the impacted service recipient(s).  If this item is not approved, there will be unacceptable delays in Client responsiveness to public inquiries, connection of service recipients to high need services, and completion of safety checks for at risk clients.

The Client OQI (Office of Quality Improvement) is overseeing incidents in Client licensed facility and programs in NYS. Staff would assist in processing Significant Incidents and CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) to ensure proper review, procedures and corrective actions have been developed and implemented to mitigate future risks. Staff needs to utilize NIMRS and VPCR system for processing and work in a team.
