The IT Enterprise Applications division of the Client IT Department is seeking 1 (one) consultant to serve as a SPEAR APPLICATION ARCHITECT to perform various aspects of Design, build and support of Oracle DBs using PL/SQL Developer, TOAD and SQL+ development tools. Configure, migrate and maintain the third-party Spear application and related front ends for supporting the asset management line of business. Work closely with applications developers to develop, enhance and troubleshoot interfaces with Oracle and other systems; expert in building Stored Procedures, DB Packages, Triggers and Views; experience working with Red Had Open Shift framework (Java, Camel, Springbooth...), Microsoft .Net, VBA for Microsoft Office, Confluence, Visio; provide additional technical assistance with custom development, production support and support activities as directed by the designated.


• Minimum 7-9 years as Oracle PL/SQL Developer with some Red Hat Open Shift, .Net, VBA and Web Development and deployment experiences. Included in particular are:
a. Expertise in supporting a Client/Server vendor Application against a large Oracle database (Oracle 9i – 12c+) with a large number of concurrent logons.
b. Understanding of Oracle security, synonyms, permissions and grants.
c. Experience in database design, creation and debugging of stored procedures and triggers, indexes, queries, views, timed as implemented using Oracle.
d. Skills in data manipulation into and out from Oracle tables, including import to, export from diverse external structures, creation and support of interfaces with both Oracle and non-Oracle databases.
e. Knowledge of database design software and the TOAD database development tool.
f. Experience with developing and troubleshooting data integrations and APIs in Red Hat environment.
g. Familiarity with client-server applications and Enterprise Asset Management applications (Spear / EAM) in the context of establishing and supporting connectivity and database interaction with Oracle
h. Ability to support web, mobile, Java, JSON, Red Hat Open Shift Framework, MS Office VBA, .NET application development and maintenance, including application configuration on desktop and Citrix servers.
i. Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skill in relating technical information to non-technical personnel, using MS Office tools, Visio, Confluence etc.
j. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
k. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
l. Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter

• Skills in all phases of project/ application design, development, testing, quality assurance and implementation. This includes familiarity with modification of existing applications and response to mid-course corrections and changes in project requirements.


• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Application development using Oracle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 and higher
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for flow charts/process flows version 2003 and higher
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
