Requirements

The Program Aide will be responsible for providing a wide range of day-to-day assistance within the Bureau of Financial Operations under the supervision and guidance of senior professional staff. 

General duties include:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding the Title IV-E foster care and adoption federal regulations and program instructions. 
• Assists in monitoring compliance with Title IV-E eligibility and allowability compliance.
• Assist with tracking case status, follow up documentation and maintaining documentation for audit.
• Monitors the use of funds to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Gathers, reviews, and evaluates information required by professionals to conduct financial and program audits.
• Assists in the preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and other documents specific to the assignment.
• Liaisons with various agency program staff and other State, local, and federal agencies.
• Assist with the coordination of FCER and related meetings.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the Title IV-E website.
• Update/create manuals, templates and checklists as needed to maintain compliance with Title IV-E federal regulation changes.
• Prepare materials for case samples.
• Review financial payment data to assess disallowances for monitoring.
• Assist in presentation of written materials.
• Assist in the preparation and review of a variety of correspondence and reports specific to assignments within the Bureau of Financial Operations.

Minimum Qualifications: 
• High School graduate
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Oral and Written Communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Proficiency in Adobe PDF 
• Ability to independently prioritize workload
• Ability to work under time constraints and manage shifting priorities
• Time and Task Management skills,
