*PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION WILL ALLOW CONSULTANT TO WORK REMOTELY.
(VERY HIGH EXPECTATION THAT CONSULTANT WILL BE PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE, REACHABLE AND ABLE TO WORK PRODUCTIVELY WHILE REMOTE). WILL COME ONSITE ONLY AS NEEDED BY THEIR MANAGER/TEAM (AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE).

Requirements

Responsibilities include software support over all stages of the software development life cycle. System integration and interdepartmental interfacing is required to provide system data and management reports for operating and staff departments and customer information.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*Knowledge of Cloud Technologies and specific Atlassian Agile DevOps (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins and GitLab) is required (2-4 years of expertise knowledge)

Basic Middleware and working knowledge of SoftwareAG ARIS server upgrades
Full knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate
Ability to update and support the web servers associated with Weblogic, Apache, PHP, Zend, etc.
Knowledge and experience of a large amount of Middleware technologies
Proficient with Unix, Windows, PERL, PHP, and WebLogic
Provide technical troubleshooting support to application owner if issues arise in testing
Ability to review vendor support documentation on technical upgrades and apply to tasks given

Additional Skills and Information:

Working Knowledge : Install, configure and upgrade the legacy on-prem SoftwareAG ARIS Platform to the latest version and knowledge of Atlassian DevOps Tools and migration from Data Center to Cloud.
