Requirements
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform information technology functions related to development and maintenance including
coding and testing of the MTA’s UKG Kronos Timekeeping Systems. UKG Kronos is a complex cloud based SQL
Server time and attendance system for represented and non-represented employees who work at various MTA
agencies. The candidate will prepare and coordinate system deliverables for various disciplines such as Workforce
Integration Manager (WIM) programming, system analysis, troubleshoot proximity, in touch & biometric clocks; modify
system configuration settings including mobile, process analysis, prepare adhoc SQL queries/reports and
investigate/address time sensitive production issues. The candidate will adhere to UKG Kronos standards and
coordinate all aspects during upgrades to the cloud and from one release to the next. The candidate must have the
ability to recommend modifications and enhancements to existing and proposed UKG Workforce Central modules and
technology including mobile, biometrics, accruals, activities, leave, attendance, timekeeper, Telestaff, advanced
scheduler, attestation, etc.
Education and Experience
1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in Computer science or a related field and two (2) years
of computer software/data communications experience, and at least one year in a project leader capacity or as a major
contributor on a complex project; OR
2. A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience, however all candidates must have one year in a project leader
capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.
Level IV placement requires one year additional experience in a project leader capacity.
Desired Skills
Hands on experience designing, building, configuring and maintaining Kronos/UKG integrations, conversions,
enhancements, creating payrules, hyperfinds, genies, Time Clock Profiles and Workflow objects.
Strong understanding of Kronos/UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper/Dimensions application architecture,
including infrastructure, database table structure, design standards, protocols, and delivered objects.
A commanding knowledge of SQL Server and the UKG Kronos Workforce Central Suite is a must.
Excellent coding skills using Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) and Microsoft SSRS RDL reporting .
Excellent hands on working knowledge of creating and troubleshooting WIM imports and exports to and from
the UKG Kronos Cloud.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business staff.
Strong SQL Server skills using the UKG Kronos Workforce Timekeeper/Dimensions Database version 8 or
later.
Experience modifying UKG Kronos Workforce configuration settings
Experience writing RDL reports and queries against UKG Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Database.
Experience with UKG Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Cloud environments
Knowledge of payroll/timekeeping systems and agile product development a plus.
Experience in development using SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps is a plus.
Experience working with Agile, DevOps using different tools (Jira, Jenkins, Security Scan, Monitoring,
